Biography

After graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1997 with an MA in Silversmithing and Metalwork Daniel initially worked as a model-maker at Harris Blyth Models and Effects (later hb.source) where he became an integral member of the company's growing design department. This hands-on knowledge of materials and manufacturing has proved invaluable in subsequent years – Daniel fully understands what makes a robust and buildable design.

In 2005 Daniel joined Ralph Appelbaum Associates working on projects at the Natural History Museum and London Transport Museum. In 2008 Daniel moved to Event Communications as senior designer on a variety of heritage projects including The Roman Baths Museum, The National Army Museum, The Giants Causeway Visitor Centre, Titanic Belfast and the Sheikh Zaid National Museum in Abu Dhabi.

Since 2015 Daniel has collaborated with his brother William Warren on a number of design projects, notably at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh. He has also worked with other design studios on exhibitions in the UK and with DesignPM International on flagship projects in the Middle East.
