Warren Design
A project with hb.source
hb.source (formerly Harris Blyth Models and Effects) made interactive exhibits for tv shows, advertising, motor shows, museums and visitor centres. From 1995 to 2005 Daniel designed and built exhibits for Nissan motor shows, Walls ice cream, Thinktank, Urbis, The Millennium Dome, Lisbon Expo, Yo Sushi plus many other weird and wonderful projects.
A specialism of hb.source was the design and manufacture of 'Peppers Ghosts' in which a filmed character appears 'holographically' within a real 3D set. When done well it is a compelling effect. Daniel worked with Land Design Studios to design the series of Peppers Ghost exhibits installed at the Museum of Science and Industry telling the story of famous Manchester scientists.
